Since 1973, Truman P. Young & Associates has designed and overseen construction for machine foundations worldwide for Cincinnati Milacron, Giddings & Lewis, Cincinnati Gilbert, Cincinnati Machine, Cincinnati Incorporated, the Ingersoll Company, Henri Line', LeBlond Makino, and others. These include boring, grinding, stamping, and milling machines, as well as machining centers for the aerospace industry. High performance foundations are critical to maintain extremely tight tolerances in cutting accuracy over a wide range of loading conditions. In addition, we have experience in inertia block foundations commonly required for vibratory or cyclically-loaded machinery.
